We are a vegetarian and vegan cafe located at the Sustainability Centre in East Meon. We are ideally situated just off the South Downs Way and are a welcome stop for walkers and cyclists throughout the year.
At the Beech Cafe we are lucky to be able to buy some of our fruit and vegetables from right here on site! During the Spring, Summer and Autumn, the Fitzroy Group, a charity based at the Centre, who support people with learning disabilities grow a whole range of produce on their allotment, we think it's fantastic to have produce gown on our door step. As well as this we have a fantastic herb garden right outside the Cafe, where a wide range of herbs are grown during the summer months, and further down into the woodland the beekeepers work at maintaining their hives and producing honey.
At the Beech Cafe we aim to create new and exciting dishes for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free. We know from our own experience of eating out that only having one or two options to choose from is not very exciting so we try our hardest to give everyone plenty of choices. We like to keep our dishes simple, perfect and fresh. Everything on our menu is home-made; from the dressing on our salad, to our hand made bread, and our very own chutney. In the summer we have a delicious selection of our own ice-cream, churned by us in the cafe and we are always aiming to invent new and exciting flavours.
